Pimiento de la Vera Seeds (Capsicum annuum)

A variety of pepper that comes from the South of Spain (Extremadura) and is particularly appreciated in the blends of paprika.(pimento) To do this, the fruits of this variety free of seeds is smoked for 24 hours over oak. Unripe peppers can be eaten like these Padron peppers. The fruits of some 20 cm long are mildy hot.
